Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo Welcoming Back Crowd Favorite ‘Bullfighters Only’

Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo is just weeks away and a crowd favorite event that kicked off in 2017 is coming back.  The Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo can be traced back to 1932 when it was known as the Blue Mountain Rodeo. The next year it was called the Uintah Basin Rodeo and hosted 65 events. By the 4th year it had yet another name as the Vernal Rodeo and it’s popularity continued to grow.  Now bigger than ever, the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo features a crowd favorite event, Bullfighters Only. Known nationally as BFO, Bullfighters Only can get intense as the professional bullfighters maneuver around and over the fighting bull. The bull can also gain points based on quickness, aggression and willingness to stay engaged with the fighter. Each match can last up to one minute and the competition is intense as these professional bullfighters take major risks to try and end the fight on a high note. This year’s rodeo is July 12th through the 14th. Visit
