The wait is almost over for the highly anticipated Utah Symphony concert taking place within Dinosaur National Monument this Saturday. The concert is the last stop on the symphony’s 1,200 mile “Great American Road Trip” of Utah. The tour’s mission “is to connect with rural communities through free outdoor performances and educational activities that pay homage to the state’s landscape, dark skies, and the country’s Native American heritage,” shares Monument Chief of Visitor Services Dan Johnson. The concert is free but tickets are required and while all the tickets have already been distributed, walk-up tickets may be available. Entrance fees are being waived for all visitors
beginning at 5:00pm on September 2nd
, shares Johnson, and all attendees must arrive early and take a shuttle to the concert area at Split Mountain. Shuttles will
start at 5:00pm
and will run continuously up to
7:30pm
. Attendees are urged to bring food, water, folding chairs, a jacket, and flashlight because cars will be parked in undeveloped lots. For more information, visit
