Department of Workforce Service Program Specialist On Apprenticeship

by | May 2, 2022 | News | 0 comments

Alexia Murphy, the Department of Workforce Service Program Specialist, shared information about the Apprenticeship program during a recent Vernal Chamber luncheon. Recruiting, training and retaining talent is one of the most important things for an employer and the Registered Apprenticeship model allows employers to take charge of building a pipeline of highly-skilled and highly-motivated workers. 94 percent of the people completing Apprenticeships stay on the job.  Apprenticeships help an employer bring in younger personnel, train and then be able to move current employees up and have well trained entry level personnel.
