December is hopping at the Uintah County Library. As you might expect, Santa has been at the library along with other holiday activities so far but there’s more than just holly jolly activities this month. In fact, this month on December 16th, the Uintah County Library is hosting a Bridgerton To Persuasion Regency Style event. This is to celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th birthday with light snacks while listening to a lecture by Miss Christine on Historical Regency Fashion. Dressing up is highly encouraged! The library has also added a new storytime this month called Stories and Stuffies. This is a chance for your little one to bring their favorite teddy bear, dinosaur, or creature to come enjoy a story or two on Tuesdays at 1pm. And as always, the Uintah County Library hosts the Kids Cafe Monday through Thursday 3:30 to 4:30pm and Friday and Saturday 2:00 to 3:00pm for kids to come eat a free meal, courtesy of the Utah Food Bank. Stay up to date on the happenings at the Uintah County Library by following their Facebook page.
