The prosecutor in a case of two Big Piney men charged with 1st Degree Murder says the death penalty is still on the table moving forward. 18-year-old Orion Schlesinger and 19-year-old Rowan Littauer allegedly forced their way into the home of 23-year-old Dakota Farley and fatally shot Farley with two arrows from a compound bow. The prosecutor’s statement that the death penalty “remains on the table” was shared during their virtual court hearing last week. A Cowboy State Daily report states that the pair made plans on February 1st to go to Farley’s home to kill him. They walked 1.4 miles there, entered the home, and when they located Farley, Littauer shot him in the arm and chest. Schlesinger took a .22 caliber revolver from Farley’s home and Littauer shot 8 BBs into Farley’s scalp before the pair left. When investigators searched Littauer’s home they found the bow, arrows, broadhead arrow tips, and BB gun.
