Daggett County Commissioner Resigns; Replacement Appointed

Daggett County has accepted the resignation of one Commissioner as well as welcomed a replacement. After several years of dedicated service, Daggett County Commissioner Clyde Slaugh has resigned. The Commissioners shared in their newsletter that they were sorry to accept his resignation and that they wish him all the best with his health challenges. They also expressed their appreciation for the Republican Party for quickly recommending a replacement, which the commission accepted. Matt Tippets ran in the November election and has been attending and contributing to the commission meetings. Tippets will serve as the Daggett County Commissioner A for the next two years. The Commission also thanked all the individuals who expressed interest in the position.
