February means different things to different people but for many local girls and their dads, it is a time to attend a special daddy-daughter dance. There are several local opportunities and while the annual dance through Uintah Recreation has Sold Out, there is another perfect opportunity to make memories. In its second year, the annual Daddy Daughter Dance at the Tridell Community Room/Fire Station is coming up Saturday, February 28th. “This night is about more than just music and dancing,” shares Alina Tate. “It’s about strengthening the bond between fathers and daughters, grandpas and granddaughters, and reminding every little girl that she is valued, important, and worthy of being treated like a princess. In a world that moves so fast, this is our way of slowing down — and creating intentional, beautiful moments together.” There will be music, dancing, treats, and photos. Tickets are $5 per person and each girl will receive a wrist corsage. Pre-purchase tickets by reaching out to Alina at 435-219-3757.
