Craig To Not Include Recreational Pot on November Ballot

Craig City Council is facing pushback by pro-recreational marijuana supporters after the council once again decided against including the issue of recreational marijuana sales on the November ballot. During their meeting on Tuesday, August 22nd, the council declined to move forward. The ballot questions would have allowed the citizens to decide on recreational marijuana sales and taxes. The group known as The Committee to Grow Craig have been vocal in their opposition to the decision, and are criticizing Mayor John Ponikvar stating that he ran on the premise of giving the people the chance to vote.
