Police have located a man who crashed his vehicle last week and abandoned the scene.
On Thursday a vehicle was found rolled over and upside down on the side of the road north of Craig on Highway 13. When the Subaru station wagon was found, no one was found at the scene of the accident. Shortly after the car was found, Colorado State Patrol found an uninjured man walking in the area.The man was later determined as the vehicle’s driver. Craig Police issued a warrant for the arrest of 34-year-old Tanner Sholes for driving without a valid license, operating an uninsured vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, abandoning a vehicle, and careless driving. Sholes turned himself in to police on Wednesday night.
