A Craig man guilty of luring a child on the Internet has been sentenced. 38-year-old Jason Allen McCamant was arrested February 25, 2016 for sexually exploiting a child online. The victim was a 14-year-old girl and police became involved after her parents discovered the online activities on Facebook. A police sting was set up and McCamant was lured to the area of arrest after further Facebook encounters between McCamant and police posing as the girl. McCamant entered a guilty plea this week to the charges and was sentenced to 9 years in prison.
