COVID-19 Transmission Index and Update (9/9-9/15)

As of Thursday, September 9th, TriCounty Health Department reported 6,243 total COVID-19 cases in the tri-county area to date, an increase of 97 new cases from the day before. According to Thursday’s data, there are currently 849 active cases. Over the past seven days the tri-county area has seen 30 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations and three new COVID-19 related deaths. The COVID-19 Transmission Index reports Duchesne County and Uintah County at the High Transmission Index Level and Daggett County at the Low Level. Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 18 percent and there were 271 cases in the past 14 days, Duchesne County was 28 percent with 318 cases, and Daggett County was 15 percent with 9 cases.
