It’s road construction season and among the places to watch for the orange flags and cones is within Dinosaur National Monument. This week, monument officials shared that visitors heading to the Quarry Visitor Center and Exhibit Hall will encounter flaggers and one lane traffic in the Utah portion of the monument. “Delays may be up to 30 minutes,” shares the announcement. “Please plan extra time and pack your patience. Watch out for construction equipment and workers on the road. Obey all posted speed limits and traffic signs. This road and parking lot improvement project will take place throughout the summer and into late fall.” It is also worth noting that this construction will include a temporary closure of the Quarry Exhibit Hall scheduled for September 8th through late October 2025.
