Construction Progressing on Roosevelt State Street Project

The Roosevelt City State Street construction project is moving quickly along. Crews began flushing streets that have been chipped throughout the city on Wednesday. Chipping will continue around the city throughout this week and all vehicles or other items need to be removed off the streets. Vehicles could be towed at the owner’s expense if not removed. The entire project includes widening State Street to accommodate sidewalks on both sides and improvements to the storm drainage system. Residents in the area have had to use alternate routes to bypass construction but progress has been ongoing all month long.
