A parole compliance check resulted in a double arrest on Thursday in Duchesne County. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, a compliance check at Tobias Lopez’ residence found that Mariea Hackford was also at the residence. Both Tobias and Mariea were on ankle monitor supervision with the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office and both were to be on individual house arrest. Officers explained that they were not allowed to associate with one another under the conditions of their pre-trial release. A K-9 officer conducted a search of the residence which alerted to the area beneath the couch where a small bag of what was believed to be Methamphetamine was located. Burnt tinfoil with residue was also located. Both were placed under arrest and have new drug charges.
