UDOT’s list of construction projects for the Uintah Basin include more than additional passing lanes between Bridgeland and Myton on Highway 40. Other projects include the following: Crews will repave approximately 13 miles of U.S. 191 from near the Duchesne/Carbon County line to the Jones Hollow turnoff in Indian Canyon. Work on that project will start this summer and finish in the fall. UDOT will place new pavement this spring and summer on U.S. 191 from the Uintah/Daggett County line to the area south of Flaming Gorge. Workers will repave S.R. 87 in Duchesne from the U.S. 40 junction to the S.R. 35 junction this spring. Finally, UDOT will widen Highway
40 to extend the westbound passing lane north
of Daniel’s Summit starting this spring. Construction information can be found on
