Christmas is long over but many admittedly enjoy letting the season linger and if you haven’t disposed of your Christmas tree yet, you’re in luck! The Christmas Tree Recycling Program is still available in Vernal City. It’s simple: When you are ready, drop off your undecorated real tree at 73 West 100 North. Vernal City recycles your tree by grinding it up and turning it into mulch, which will be used to beautify and improve the community. This service is available now and generally runs until mid-February. Another local service offered to help with Christmas cleanup is the RDT dumpsters. If you see one of the RDT dumpsters available for free trash disposal, only use it if it is not already full. This is offered as a gift to the community but RDT asks all to stop adding trash if they are already clearly full.
