Charges have been filed against the individual arrested in connection with an FBI operation in Uintah County on Thursday. Court records show that 50-year-old David Antillon of Vernal has been charged in 8th District Court with 1st Degree Felony Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Misdemeanor Manufacturing/Delivering of Drug Paraphernalia. The Probable Cause Statement shares that Antillon “sold Methamphetamine to a confidential informant for $200.” It also states that Antillon has a prior conviction for distribution of a controlled substance. Thursday’s FBI operation was in conjunction with the Uintah Basin Narcotics Strike Force and local law enforcement during which a Naples business and Vernal residence were searched and a warrant for Antillon led to his arrest.
