Duchesne Man Arrested for Kidnapping, Assault, and Drug Charges
A Welfare Check last week resulted in the arrest of a South Duchesne man. 60-year-old Garren Thomas Breach was arrested for the offenses of Kidnapping, Assault, Threat of Violence, Possession of a Controlled Subtance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, deputies were dispatched to a trailer in South Duchesne for a Welfare Check on November 6th and the owner, Garren Breach, came out. After multiple requests, a woman also came out of the trailer, moving as if she was in extreme pain. “When asked about what had happened, the victim claimed she had been beaten and that she had attempted to get away,” shared the deputy’s probable cause statement. “We removed her from speaking distance from the owner.
