The Division of Wildlife Resources recommend fishing and hunting licenses as the perfect stocking stuffer for real or would-be outdoorsman this Christmas and for ice fisherman, the gift will come just in time.

The local Division of Wildlife Resources is up to something fishy, in a good way! Plans announced early this year for urban fishing ponds in Maeser continue to progress. According to Aaron Averett of Sunrise Engineering, it’s possible the permit from the Army Corps of Engineers will be issued in January, in which case construction could begin in July or August.
Thousands have stepped foot through the doors of the Uintah Conference Center since its opening. While everything is in place for successful events, the County is working to better utilize the state of the art sound and lighting system.
What’s happening off the mat is taking the spotlight tonight at the home opener for Ute Wrestling. The team is honoring fallen Utah officers in a meaningful way by not only holding a special ceremony before the dual tonight, but by wearing the names of fallen Utah officers on their jerseys that will stay on all season long.
