A case of malicious livestock killing has occurred locally. The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office reports that on July 31st, the Sheriff’s Office received a report regarding a calf that was tragically shot and killed with a rifle in the Tabiona area. “We are asking for any information from the public regarding suspicious activities in that area that may be related to this incident,” shares the announcement.
The Utah Department of Agriculture announced earlier this year the offer of a cash reward for information leading to the conviction of any person involved in the theft, mutilation, or malicious killing of livestock. If you have any information, please contact the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office at 435-738-2015 or the anonymous tip line at 435-738-0196.
