Uintah Basin Medical Center has their annual golf tournament coming up. The UBMC Golf Classic benefits Brody’s Fund. Brody’s Fund was started when two community members experienced watching their son and daughter-in-law struggle when they lost their newborn son as a stillborn. To help families that are suffering emotionally and financially from such a loss they created “Brody’s Fund”, which is named after their grandson Brody Crozier. The fund now provides financial assistance for funeral and medical costs for those that deliver at UBMC and a stillbirth or a fetal demise occurs. The UBMC Golf Classic will be happening on Friday, June 3rd at the Roosevelt City golf course. This is a 4 man scramble style tournament with teams registration costing $500 with chances to purchase mulligans and raffle tickets to add to Brody’s Fund. This year we have chosen to include over 30 gift certificates to community businesses to help support our local economy as well as multiple getaways and a gun! Raffle tickets are available for purchase ($1 each) now through the day of the tournament.
