Every spring, a group of local women host a Ladies Night Out event for a very worthy cause. The theme of this year’s Ladies Night Out Vernal is ‘Boots & Blessings For Rapha’ and will once again include dinner, entertainment, a raffle, and an auction with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Rapha International. Event organizer Katy Cundall has many years of working with Rapha on this very important mission. “Rapha provides healing, hope and freedom through quality care for children who have been rescued from trafficking,” shares Katy. “They provide training to safely reintegrate the children who come into their care. It is an amazing organization and one that I am very blessed to be a part of.” Rapha has safe houses in Cambodia, Thailand, and Haiti as well as three “Kids Club” locations to educate and prevent trafficking from happening. “I am fortunate in the fact that I have been able to visit each of these safe houses, meet the girls, and get to know the wonderful staff,” shares Katy. “They are extremely credible and have worked for over 20 years doing this life saving work.” Tickets are on sale now for the ‘Boots & Blessings For Rapha’ Ladies Night Out event happening April 24th at the Western Park.
