Thankfully, a bomb threat at a school in Wyoming’s Sweetwater County was a false report this week. According to the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office, the threat was made at the Rock Springs Junior High School as school was letting out on Tuesday afternoon at about 2:45pm. The school was evacuated and the Sweetwater Bomb Squad was called in. Students still on campus were evacuated to a nearby school. The Bomb Squad announced an “all clear” after a thorough search of the building. No explosive devices were found and no injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation by the Rock Springs Police Department.
