The bodies of three missing Vernal men are believed to have been recovered from the Green River Wednesday. 29-year-old Jacob Douglas Tilt, 33-year-old Robert Alan Spoon, and 33-year-old Jason Ralph Tilt were reported missing on Friday, May 26th after having last been seen Monday, May 22nd. Crews from multiple agencies worked throughout the
morning on Wednesday
to pull a truck matching the make and model of the missing vehicle from the river and three adult bodies were found inside. Uintah County Sheriff Vance Norton confirms that the three bodies are believed to be the three missing men. The bodies have been sent to the medical examiner for positive identification. The families have been notified and some were even present at the river as the crane pulled the truck from the river. There are still few clues as to why or how the truck ended up in the river but once everything is retrieved it will be processed and hopefully investigators will discover what happened.
