The Bureau of Land Management issued a final environmental assessment and sale notice on Monday for a competitive bid oil and gas lease sale to take place in June. The BLM state office will be offering one parcel in Uintah County totaling 160 acres on public lands managed by the Vernal Field Office. “The parcel will be offered at the online oil and gas lease sale scheduled for June 28th,” shares the announcement. “The sale can be accessed at www.energynet.com; the parcel may also be viewed on the EnergyNet website approximately 10 days after [the] posting of the Notice of Competitive Lease Sale on the BLM Utah oil and gas web page.” The 30-day public protest period will end on May 18th.
