The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has authorized rights-of-way for 27 county roads in Uintah County. The Official signed a decision record under which the BLM issues the rights-of-way to the applicant, Uintah County. The project information on the BLM National NEPA Register states that “the roads are an integral part of the existing infrastructure of the Uintah County Road System, and authorizing the roads under a Title V right-of-way would allow the public to legally traverse the roads on public lands. The roads would be used in their current condition, without any upgrades or additional surface disturbances.” The project location is simply listed as 27 existing county-claimed Class D roads on BLM-administered lands in Uintah County.
