A Basin man is the recipient of a rare award from the Boy Scouts of America. A. Lynn Snow is among the few to be named an Outstanding Eagle Scout during the Celebration of Eagles award ceremony in Provo this Thursday. Since 1912, there has been over 2.4 million young men receive the Eagle Scout Award and of those only 1,200 have been recognized as Distinguished or Outstanding Eagle Scouts across the entire nation. The Utah National Parks Council produces over 2,000 Eagle Scouts annually which is higher than any other council in the nation.
