Having options is sometimes the key to success and that is exactly what Ashley Valley Education Center is offering to students. According to Principal Andy McKea, the AVEC Class of 2019 set a record for the number of credits earned in the night school program. The 173 students enrolled in the high school earned 508 credits, with 21 graduating. The adult education options also produced some of the best numbers McKea’s seen in the 10 years he has been with AVEC with 16 students earning their high school diploma, 14 earning their GED, and 16 English as a Second Language students completing 35 UBTech classes. McKea also reports that Uintah Online students had “explosive numbers” with 181 students enrolled for the year, earning 470 credits and graduating 32 students. Congratulations to all the students who worked hard this year and utilized the services of the Ashley Valley Education Center!
