A Ballard man is facing felony charges after allegedly stabbing his son with a screwdriver and threatening to kill his family. He is also under investigation for at least 18 additional charges in multiple cases for additional counts of aggravated assault and child torture. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, Emmette Cesspooch asked his son to help him repair a truck but the son wanted to spend time with friends. “The victim stated that while working on the truck, Emmette became increasingly upset about the victim’s level of assistance. The victim stated that at one point, Emmette became angry and…stabbed the victim with a screwdriver in his ribs.” They went inside the residence and “while the victim was on the bed, Emmette grabbed the victim’s football helmet and began striking him with it.” The two sons were able to leave the residence and when officers responded, Emmette looked out the window, observed officers walking, and speaking to the boys’ mother, stated, “If I go to jail, I’m going to kill you guys.” 37-year-old Emmette Cordell Cesspooch was arrested. He was charged this week with two counts of 3rd Degree Felony Aggravated Assault and Misdemeanor Threat of Violence. He is ordered to be held without bail as multiple parties reported that Emmette Cesspooch has made statements that if released from jail he would attempt to kill his family. Previous reported incidents of domestic violence where other injuries have occurred that included the use of a firearm are being investigated. Emmette Cesspooch was reported to have said that a protective order would not stop a bullet. The Affidavit also noted that there were several loaded firearms located in Emmette’s home where the victim resides as well as Emmette being booked on a separate incident involving domestic violence against the victim’s mother. Investigators say the assault with the screwdriver is just the latest in a long history of domestic violence at the hands of Emmette Cordell Cesspooch.
