As State Mandate Lifts School Mask Mandate Staying in Place
Getting “back to normal” seems more and more likely. Many people are getting the COVID-19 vaccine and Utah’s mask mandate will soon be lifted since Governor Spencer Cox signed HB294 on Monday… HB294 states that “health safety measures in a K-12 school may remain in place” but that the health order “shall be terminated no later than July 1st, 2021.”
UDOT: Bridge Repair on Highway 40 Over Starvation Reservoir Starting
UDOT wants the public to know that work on the Starvation Bridge will soon be underway. “Drivers should expect travel delays up to 15 minutes,” shares UDOT. “The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) advises drivers to plan for travel delays on U.S. 40 at Starvation Reservoir beginning this spring through and summer.

TriCounty Health Department announced Thursday that Uintah County has moved from High back down to the Moderate COVID-19 Transmission Index Level while Duchesne County shifted from Low to Moderate and Daggett County remained at Low.

Utah Joins Lawsuit to Stop Biden Oil/Gas Lease Ban
Utah has joined a multi state lawsuit in the battle to block the Biden Administration’s plan to suspend oil and gas leases on federal lands in Utah and beyond. According to Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes, the lawsuit says Biden Executive Order 14008 is in violation of the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (OCSLA) and the Mineral Leasing Act (MLA).
