Considering this is National Nurses Week and National Hospital Week it is fitting that the CEO of Ashley Regional Medical Center has a message for the community shining a spotlight on local healthcare workers. Wes Taylor, ARMC CEO, shares that each May it is an honor to reflect on the tireless work and dedication of local healthcare teams. “During National Nurses Week (May 6-12), we honor our more than 125 compassionate nurses who care for patients during their times of greatest need,” shares Taylor. “Their voices and actions make a difference every single day – from monitoring patients at the bedside to championing new protocols and procedures and ensuring that quality is always at the heart of what we do. National Hospital Week (May 8-14) honors hospitals, health systems and the more than 5.6 million healthcare workers across the country who are making a difference in their communities,” Taylor continues. “In the Basin, Ashley Regional employs 279 providers and employees – making it one of the largest employers in the community.” All are encouraged to show your appreciation for the healthcare workers that serve our community!
