Enjoying a day as a family on the mountain to find the perfect Christmas tree is a tradition for many families in northeastern Utah. For those already eager to plan the outing, Ashley National Forest has made their first announcement of the season concerning Christmas trees. Permits to cut down your Christmas tree in Ashley National Forest will be available for purchase online or in person starting November 12th. “Get your loved ones together and cross ‘Christmas Tree Shopping’ off your to-do list early this year,” shares the announcement. “With your permit you can visit Ashley National Forest and cut down your own tree, starting a new holiday tradition or carrying on an old one, making memories along the way and helping to maintain a healthy forest!”
