Ashley National Forest Public Workshops

Do you have thoughts about how the Ashley National Forest could help support the local wood product economy over the next 15 to 20 years? Ashley National Forest is hosting a public workshop in January that will help shape the desired conditions for the forest wood product as part of developing the revised Ashley forest plan. The meeting itself will provide background from in-state experts on the history and trends of wood supply and how it affects rural economies in and around the state. It will also explore the challenges and opportunities for future availability. The workshop is free and open to the public but space is limited so those interested are asked to register for the event. Call
