Ashley National Forest Office An American Flag Retirement Drop Off Location

Properly retiring the American flag isn’t always easy and most people are unfamiliar with the proper process. The local Vernal Cadet Squadron “Nighthawks” are making this very easy on the public as they are collecting flags in need of retirement with plans to handle the ceremony themselves. In order to make it as easy as possible for the public, they have partnered with Ashley National Forest to make the Forest Supervisor’s Office an American flag retirement drop off location. So, if you have a worn out, tattered, or frayed American flag you can bring them down to the Ashley National Forest Supervisor’s Office at 355 N. Vernal Avenue where there is a box in the foyer to drop off your American flags.
