Ashley National Forest is keeping the public informed, announcing that nearly all Flaming Gorge campgrounds are now open, with the exception of Spirit Lake and Lodgepole Campgrounds. Deep Creek Road is now open but the campground isn’t. Hideout Boat Camp is now open while Jarvies Canyon and King Fisher are not. Ashley National Forest also announced that more mountain roads are opening up as snow melts. Deep Creek Road is now open for travel and the only road left closed at this time on the North Slope is Forest Road 221 from Sheep Creek Park to Birch Creek. It will open after the Mann’s culvert is repaired. Spirit Lake Road remains closed due to snow.
