Oh, the places you’ll go and the jobs you’ll have! Ashley Elementary celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a special career exploration night this week with great success! Vernal City was among the organizations with booths. “City Recorder Sara Bell, Communications Coordinator Katie Flaniken, and Officer Vance Norton from the Vernal City Police Department had a great time visiting with students and families, playing games, and sharing what we do each day to help keep Vernal running smoothly and safely,” shares the announcement. “We loved meeting so many curious students and talking about city government, public safety, and what makes Vernal such a great place to live. Thank you, Ashley Elementary, for allowing us to be part of such a special evening.” The families that attended had a great time exploring careers with some extra fun and Dr. Seuss flair.
