It’s been ten amazing years of the Vernal Gun & Knife Show and this year is set to be bigger and better than ever. From the beginning, the event’s proceeds have been used to fund upgrades to Buckskin Hills shooting range, starting with small projects such as providing specialty targets and concrete benches. The improvements have continued since those early days and this year’s event again will donate all proceeds to the Buckskin Hills Shooting Area. Event organizer Bill Lewis explained back in 2013 that this is the only true knife show in the state and they still emphasize that their event is a TRUE gun and knife show with only guns, knives, and related items, unlike other shows claiming the gun and knife title. The Gun & Knife Show is being held today and tomorrow at the Uintah Conference Center.
