Programs and individuals throughout the Basin have made it a priority to help others this Christmas season and ensure that every child enjoys gifts on Christmas morning. Santa’s Community Effort led by the Vernal Rotary Club announced another successful season of gathering and distributing Christmas cheer through the use of the Angel Trees. “Thank you to the members of our community who took tags from our angel trees in support of Santa‘s Community Effort. Also to our sponsors who step up for us year after year, we are grateful!” shares the Rotary Club’s announcement. “Together we supported 87 families [a total of 257 children] this year!” For those that still need some help getting a toy for their child, Santa’s Angels will have their ‘Used Toy Shop’ set up this evening at Vernal City Hall from 7:30 to 8:30pm.
