Another Amazing Year for Enchanted Forest Charity Auction

Generosity overflowed during the Enchanted Forest charity auction held at the Crossroads Community Center in Roosevelt. The dinner and auction was held
Thursday evening
, with 21 trees raising $120,000 dollars for local charities and causes. Duchesne County Chamber Director Irene Hansen says there was another $30,000 dollars raised in tree sponsorships and it’s expected an additional $10,000 dollars on all the silent auction items. “All in all it was a perfect event,” shares Hansen. “We also had story hour with Santa on Saturday and had about 250 kids. Overall, there were lots and lots of families with everyone having a very good time.” In total, the 2018 Enchanted Forest event raised tentatively $160,000 dollars for local charities.
