The numbers are in and they certainly prove that the Uintah Basin is the home of many generous and caring people that take care of their own. The grand total of all donations as calculated so far for the 2025 Trees For Charity is $704,984 dollars. This breaks down into cash donations of $522,921 dollars and non-cash donations, which includes the cost of trees and other donated items, of $182,063 dollars. The non-cash donations amount is not yet final and is anticipated to be closer to $200,000 dollars. The tree toppers, which is the amount donated to trees in addition to the auction price, reached an amazing $64,884 dollars. “Because of the success of the event and the overwhelming generosity of our community,” shares Trees For Charity Chairman Mike Sorenson, “ we were able to donate $10,000 dollars to the food pantry before the event and are also fortunate to have given a total $19,500 dollars divided to 4 additional individuals in the community. It’s so humbling to be part of an amazing event!” he continues. “No better way to live and experience the magic of Christmas!”
