The robotics team from Altamont High School will be competing in the National Robotics World Competition over April 28-30. The Nutty Robots team, composed of jr. high students Sydney Nielson, Sam Wilcox, and Walker Jessen, will be traveling to Louisville, Kentucky, with their coach Curtis Nielson. “I’m extremely proud of these students,” expresses Nielson. “They’ve worked hard to accomplish all that they have.” They’ve qualified for Worlds twice this year by winning in two categories at the state level, achieving this through continued work throughout the year. We wish them luck in their competition and hope to see them flourish.
