Adoption of Dogs On Hold At Roosevelt Animal Shelter

by | May 10, 2022 | News | 0 comments

The Roosevelt Animal Shelter has had quite a busy weekend and pet adoptions are now on hold. Unfortunately, the shelter had to shut down for a day due, according to their report, to the severe sickness of a dog. They spent that day disinfecting all areas of the shelter. They then went into dog quarantine for 10 days (it started May 5th). The shelter is still open to the public during regular business hours but only for visits. What the dog quarantine means is that no dog adoptions will take place until the end of quarantine. On a related note, the shelter encourages “all members of our community to please vaccinate your animals!”
