Crews continue to fight the Dollar Ridge Fire in Duchesne and Wasatch Counties. An update on Tuesday evening reports that the fire acreage has been increased to 67,500 acres due to a more accurate mapping of the fire perimeter. “Firefighters have completed burnout operations along Timber Canyon Road and from Strawberry Peak Road north to ‘cold black’ on Willow Creek Ridge Road,” shares Utah Fire Info. Firefighters plan to hold and secure the burnout operations today while adding depth to the containment lines where necessary. The Dollar Ridge Fire has been burning for over 6 weeks.
