Work is underway on an important road project in Duchesne. According to the Utah Department of Transportation, the project aims to rehabilitate the asphalt on SR87(Center Street) and a half a mile of Highway 40 in Duchesne in order to extend the life of the road. Crews got to work early this week on the Highway 40 portion, including leveling the lanes, and expect this portion to take up to two weeks to complete. On Thursday, crews got to work on Center Street. During construction, it is anticipated there can be delays up to 15 minutes on Center Street between 7am and 7pm, Monday through Friday. The entire project is valued at $700,000 dollars and is expected to be complete in late November.
