Electric vehicle charging stations are under construction at the TriCounty Health locations. According to Monday’s announcement, construction is estimated to be complete by October 15th for both the Roosevelt and Vernal locations. “This helps give residents of the Uintah Basin the opportunity to purchase electric vehicles, which will improve air quality,” shares Environmental Health Director Darrin Brown. “Having stations in Roosevelt especially, will help give opportunity for more rural commuting with electric vehicles.” Once complete, the stations will be accessible to the public 24 hours a day.
