As of Thursday, September 30th, TriCounty Health Department reported 7,400 total COVID-19 cases in the tri-county area to date, an increase of 69 new cases from the day before. According to Thursday’s data, there are currently 1,172 active cases. Over the past seven days the tri-county area has seen 22 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations and 3 new COVID-19 related deaths. The COVID-19 Transmission Index reports Duchesne County and Uintah County at the High Transmission Index Level and Daggett County at the Low Level. Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 22 percent and there were 407 cases in the past 14 days, Duchesne County was 25 percent with 360 cases, and Daggett County was 50 percent with 12 cases.
