The Utah seasonally adjusted unemployment rates are slowly heading in the right direction, including in the Uintah Basin. According to the monthly update released this week from the Utah Department of Workforce Services, unemployment in Daggett County remained at 4 percent, Duchesne County ticked down from 4.4 to 4.3 percent, and Uintah County went down from 5.1 to 4.9 percent. National unemployment moved from 5.4 to 5.2 percent and the State of Utah stayed at 2.6 percent.
