Uintah School District is looking to bolster its pool of substitute teachers. In an announcement made Tuesday it was shared that currently the district only has about 60 active substitute teachers on its roster, after hiring at least 10 substitutes to fill various part-time and full-time positions this school year. The district would like to have more than 80 substitute teachers on its rolls to accommodate teachers who must miss work due to training, illness, or other reasons.
