Sheriff Encourages All to Make Safety Top Priority With Kids Back To School

There’s no way around it, school is back in session and this means it’s time for all to be alert and aware of students on and around the roadways. “There will be kids riding their bikes and walking to and from school,” shares the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office. “This also means there will be a lot more traffic during pick-up and drop-off times. We need all drivers to slow down, put all the distractions away, and pay attention. The red flashing lights on the buses aren’t a suggestion, they mean stop!” It takes everyone doing their part to stay alert and keep our youth safe this school year.
