A local officer received much deserved recognition this month. Sgt. TJ Bird with Roosevelt Police Department was awarded a Citation of Honor for his work as a member of the Uintah Basin Narcotics Task Force. “The citation mentions the quality and consistency of his work as well as his professionalism while investigating drug cases,” shares Roosevelt Police Department. “The award was given to him on August 12th at the annual Utah Narcotic Officers Association Awards Banquet.” The banquet was held in Mesquite, Nevada. Congratulations Sgt Bird and thank you for serving the Uintah Basin and beyond so very well.
